Teaching profession : We always need qualified teacher. Just having a good degree certificate does not make a teacher qualified. Other than having a good command over the subject a teacher is going to teach, he or she has to be responsible, honest and patient too for doing better in this profession. This profession has lots of facilities; other professionals can't even think of including long paid holiday on different occasions, less hour at workplace, having a wonderful opportunity to serve the country directly through quality education and embracing a profession of dealing with students.
Requirements: At least bachelor a degree is required while a masters degree is preferred. A good teacher should have good knowledge of what he or she is teaching. He should learn more and more to improve his teaching. A good teacher should be honest, patient and respectful. He is a role model who is supposed to teach morality, behavior and definitely the importance of honesty and truthfulness.
Education management: With the rapid growth of private universities, colleges and schools in Bangladesh, the positions of secretary, administrator, librarian, extra-curricular coordinator, counselor, computer operator are on the increase. The skill for these jobs are interpersonal skill, command over English and basic computer skill. Without patience, politeness, tolerance and friendliness, one can't be good at any of these professions.
Customer service jobs: Customer service jobs are increasing rapidly not only in mobile phone or air lines companies, but other commercial companies need a reliable customer service support too. A good customer service can help keep the customers satisfied.
Requirements: A person with a good communicative skill, patience and behavior can do well in this profession. Anyone interested in this profession is expected to speak English well. Please note politeness is a plus point. A long term practice to use polite words like kindly, please, excuse me, I am sorry, thank you etc can help anyone. In Bangladesh you may not feel easy to use these words with others all the time, but don't stop your practice.
Managerial jobs: With the growth of both domestic and foreign private companies, managerial jobs are on demand if the manager is someone the employer is looking for. From entry level to high level, managers are needed for successful operation of a company. Marketing, Accounting, Finance are some common areas but often operation manager and IT managers are recruited in big companies.
Requirements: Besides having a related degree a good manager is expected to have a good interpersonal skill and a good command over English depending on what kind of company he is going to work. Learning basic computer is expected, but one does not need to be a software engineer or specialist, because there is other specialist support for software or IT support. Often experience helps more than a degree.Responsibility, honesty, good behavior and patience are few more qualities an employer expect from a good manager. Event management skill helps a manager to be a good one.
