1.If you really need a baby. If you already have couple you are struggling with, there is no point that you need to adopt a baby.
2.Every body in the family agree to adopt a baby. A baby needs both mom and dad. If mom just agrees but dad does not it is not a good decision to adopt a baby.
3. Make sure ALL the members of the family you are adopting the baby from agrees to give the baby to you.
4. All the legal papers should be made regarding the adoption.
5.One needs to be financially capable to adopt a baby.
6. Patience and a good sense of responsibility are important to adopt a baby.
7.Enough time to spend on the process. It might take longer than it seems.
