Some Jobs at Schools Without four Year College or a Bachelor Degree
There are some jobs that really don’t require a 4 year college degree. Since these jobs are in education sector, people may not dig or search information about these jobs thinking working in the classroom require a 4 year college.Although you will work at a educational institution, you do not need a 4 year college for the following jobs.Usually when people think of regular jobs they think retailers, restaurants, mall etc, but there are jobs posted that you would love to join. It even does not require a prior experience. Check the jobs at unified school district or county in your city.
Campus supervisor:
Every single school needs couple of campus supervisor. Elementary, middle and high schools all need campus supervisor. One is required to take CPR training that usually takes only 2 days to finish and it is probably free. The job requires you to keep an eye on the kids so they don’t do anything they are not supposed to. A campus supervisor is given a radio to keep in touch with the school office and the other supervisors. You need to keep an eye so they don’t hurt themselves. It is not a difficult job. One can try this job. Find out the school district at your area if there is any opening.
Instructional Aide:
Community school not only needs teachers they need instructional Aide to work with the teacher at the same classroom. An instructional Aid is not required to have 4 year college. One can try with two-year Associate Degree from community college. They even don’t have to take the test a substitute teacher is required to. It is a permanent position with the benefits and retirement like a permanent teacher.
Substitute Instructional Aide:
It is a job that is on call basis, but you are more likely to get a job almost everyday as there are many community schools in a county. The requirements are flexible and openings are common. Check out at your county Education of Office. You can check out online as well.
