What jobs are less Affected or Hit during Recession?

No matter how the economy is some jobs are always there to dominate. Many businesses have experience huge cut resulting in lay offing off employees and often shutting down some branches. Some even closed down the business. Construction was highly affected areas. So is retail. A huge number of people were laid off from entertainment industries. Many relatively new teachers were laid off. The city employees and county employees were badly affected too, but there are some areas where jobs are safer than others
Health care: Medical professions like medical doctor, registered nurse, nurse assistant, medical assistant are always there to serve the patients. The government can not just lay off lots of doctors as they are very important for treatment.
Energy sectors: They need employees to run the operation and no matter how the economy is we need energy. So jobs in energy sectors are safer than other sectors.

 Federal Government: federal government jobs are safer than many other sectors. Government has to run the country no matter how critical the economic condition is.

 Education: Education sectors are badly affected but they new teachers are the victim. Old ones are safer than others. No matter how the economy, government has to keep enough teacher and administrative support to run schools, college and university.

Accountants: Accountants are safer than many other jobs. As to run a company accountant is very important. He is one of the last employees to go if even a company closes its operation as he needs to deal with the money.


Defense sector: Army, navy and air force are required and they seem to be hiring always and there is hardly any big lay off going on.

 Pharmaceutical sector: No matter what people need to take medicine to live a healthy life. If they don’t their health get worse. They need to buy drugs and that’s why this sector is essential sector and jobs are safer.

Plumbing: Though house building is highly affected area,but the pipes and bathroom fittings need to be repaired or it will get worse and that results in more expenses. So the plumbing is safer than many others.
