Fairmont Park: It has recently been renovated. It is really a nice place to spend some time with friends or family. With few rides kids will find themselves busy. Nice place to hold a family picnic. There is a lake in the park, a calm and quiet one. This park may be little crowded during weekend. You are recommended to take food and drinks to have picnic or you can get some from Riverside downtown. This is one of the major attractions of Riverside downtown areas. After renovation it is getting noticed by more and more people.
Castle Park: Located off 91 freeway near Tyler and Magnolia, this park attracts local children. There is no fixed ticket price as different kinds of deal go on year round.
There are few rides here including some fast and exciting one.
Galleria at Tyler: It is a shopping mall with a huge plaza and movie theater near it. Lots of people shop and hang around here. This two storied mall houses a lot of stores including some brand shops in it. There is a food court on the second floor for the shoppers to try different kinds of food.
Riverside Plaza: Located off of 91 freeway, near Central, it is a place to hang around with friends and family. There is a street in front of a movie theater which is meant for evening stroll. There are many restaurants, fast food places, clothing stores etc. A library attracts readers of all ages.
Riverwalk: Off of 91 freeway, right after taking exit on Pierce, close to La Sierra University, Riverwalk plaza has a lot of places to eat and right across the plaza there is a small lake with a park. This is a wonderful place to have a afternoon walk. It is an ideal place for health conscious people when it comes to walking. There is a dog park across the street that attracts a lot of pet owners.
